IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)

<p style=";">As an IT Security Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for strengthening and protecting our organization's IT environment against evolving cyber threats. You will work closely with infrastructure, software, and operational teams to design, implement, and maintain security controls that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. We are looking for a hands-on security professional who is passionate about cybersecurity, enjoys solving complex challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. </p><p style=";"></p><h4><strong>What is your Day to Day Mission:</strong></h4><p style=";"></p><ul><li><p>Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Develop and enforce security policies in collaboration with internal stakeholders, taking into account industry-specific compliance requirements</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Perform system hardening and security baseline management for servers, endpoints, and critical infrastructure components.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support the deployment and administration of security solutions such as Endpoint Detection &amp; Response (EDR), SIEM, vulnerability management, and identity security platforms.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Design, implementation, and operation of firewall infrastructures using Fortinet and Sophos technologies. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Manage and improve access control concepts, identity management processes, and privileged access security.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support for audits and certifications in accordance with industry-specific security standards (e.g., BSI Basic Protection, ISO/IEC 27001)</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>IT Collaboration with national and international subsidiaries</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Investigate emerging threats, evaluate new security technologies, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our cybersecurity posture.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Support for user network issues.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Create and maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures.</p></li></ul><p style=";"></p><p style=";"></p><br /><br /><h4><strong><br /></strong></h4><h4><strong>What you bring to the team:</strong><br /></h4><ul><li><p>A degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
