Pre-Sales Deployed Engineer

<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">Join a fast-growing <strong>AI developer tools company</strong> as a <strong>Pre-Sales Deployed Engineer</strong> based in London. You'll be the technical heartbeat of the sales process — partnering closely with an Account Executive to win enterprise deals by running hands-on technical pilots with customers' engineering teams. This is emphatically <em>not</em> a pure sales role or a pure engineering role: you need to be genuinely capable of both writing production-quality code <strong>and</strong> closing deals.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">The company has proven product-market fit with enterprise customers and is now in scaling mode — making this an exciting moment to join and shape how the go-to-market motion evolves across Europe.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner with an Account Executive as the dedicated technical expert throughout the pre-sales cycle, from discovery through to deal close.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and run <strong>4-week technical pilots</strong> with prospective customers' developer teams, including kickoff calls, office hours, and live pair-programming sessions.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Present the product's vision, benefits, and differentiators to audiences ranging from individual developers to C-suite executives.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Deliver technical training, live demos, and enablement resources (documentation, guides, blogs, videos) that help developers understand and maximise the product's value.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Create and maintain technical collateral tailored to enterprise customers.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Relay critical customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams, directly influencing the roadmap.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Travel to customer sites or industry events as needed to support engagements.</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">1+ years of solutions or pre-sales engineering experience for a <strong>technical product</strong> (developer tools strongly preferred).</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong computer science fundamentals — CS degree or equivalent practical experience.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong programming skills in at least one OOP language; comfortable pair-programming with customers to solve real problems in real time.</p></l...
