If you want to work on meaningful problems, grow with the company, and be part of a flexible, hybrid work environment, spotixx offers the opportunity to do just that.</p> <h2>Tasks</h2> <p>Build and operate our platform on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager).</p> <ul> <li>Own Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, plus CI/CD pipelines and clean promotion across dev, test and production.</li> <li>Develop backend services in Python, design clean APIs, and integrate with internal and third-party systems.</li> <li>Build production data pipelines on BigQuery: partitioning, cost and performance tuning, scheduled queries, batch and streaming workloads.</li> <li>Shape a scalable, maintainable platform architecture with clean separation of concerns.</li> <li>Work within security and IAM standards suited to regulated financial institutions: GCP IAM, RBAC and SSO, audit logging, Binary Authorization, VPC Service Controls.</li> </ul> <h2>Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>5+ years in backend or platform engineering, with production experience on Google Cloud.</li> <li>Strong Python and clean API and service design.</li> <li>Hands-on data engineering on BigQuery.</li> <li>Solid DevOps practice: Terraform, CI/CD, containerized workloads.</li> <li>Practical depth in cloud security and IAM: identity, access control, audit logging.</li> <li>Fluent German (C1 or higher) and fluent English.</li> <li><strong>Big plus:</strong> background with regulated financial institutions or a comparable regulated setting.</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits</h2> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Attractive compensation</li> <li>Flexible hybrid work model, allowing you to split your time between our office in Frankfurt and working from home</li> <li>High ownership...
